CDL-A FLATBED DRIVER

OTR & Regional - PS-FB-001
Parsum Services is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers to join our growing flatbed operation. We are looking for professional, safety-focused drivers who want strong earning potential, consistent freight, quality equipment, and excellent home time.

• Late-model tractors
• 48' & 53' flatbed trailers
• APUs and inverters
• Straps, tarps and edge protectors
• Chains & binders
• Well-maintained equipment
• 25% - 30% of load pay
• Consistent year-round freight
• Home approximately 90% for drivers operating in the NYC, NJ, PA & CT area
• Weekly pay / direct deposit
• Fuel card and EFS support

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year OTR experience
• 6 months flatbed experience preferred
• Drivers without flatbed experience may be considered for training
• Tarping and coil experience is a plus
• Clean and safe driving record
• Must meet company and insurance qualification requirements
• Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol testing

Bonuses & Driver Incentives:

At Parsum Services, we believe professional drivers should be rewarded for safety, reliability, performance, and commitment. In addition to 30% of load pay, eligible drivers have access to several bonus opportunities.

$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Qualified new drivers may receive a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus, paid as follows:
  • $500 after completion of your first qualifying load
  • $500 after successfully completing 90 days
Drivers must remain active and in good standing and meet all applicable Parsum Services and carrier qualification, safety, and performance requirements.

As a CDL-A Flatbed Driver with Parsum Services, you will be responsible for safely and professionally transporting flatbed freight while providing dependable service to our customers.
  • Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle and flatbed trailer.
  • Pick up and deliver freight throughout assigned lanes, primarily within the NYC, NJ, PA & CT region, with additional routes as needed.
  • Properly secure freight using chains, binders, straps, tarps, edge protectors and other required securement equipment.
  • Safely load, secure and transport steel coils and other flatbed commodities when assigned.
  • Tarp and untarp freight when required.
  • Inspect cargo securement before departure and periodically while in transit in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Perform required pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate ELD/HOS records, bills of lading, delivery documents and other required paperwork.
  • Follow all applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations, company safety policies and customer/job-site requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays and other issues affecting the load.
  • Maintain safe, clean and professional company equipment.
  • Arrive at pickup and delivery appointments on time and provide professional customer service.
  • Immediately report accidents, cargo damage, equipment problems or other safety-related incidents.
  • Protect company and customer property while maintaining a safety-first approach at all times.
